The Industry Day is an event first launched and organized by the Association back in 2018, which aims to bridge the gap between the education and development industries of games development and become a nurturing ground for Singapore-based talents to springboard their career in the industry.

The event is meant as the first stepping stone for students to network with the industry, to learn more about topics not usually or widely covered in their courses, and find out more about the many different job opportunities there is to offer.

Breakdown on this year's Industry Day:

Opening Address - As it’s our first year having Industry Day back in-person, SGGA will be opening the event with an overview of our past activities, achievements and initiatives, as well as to introduce the newly elected Executive Committee Members.

Talks - There will be talks for the audience to attend, where they can get an insight into the current state of the industry & raise any questions they have with our speakers.

Portfolio Showcase* - An important aspect of the Industry Day is the portfolio showcase, where students will be able to present their works to the industry, providing them with the opportunity to experience pitching to industry professionals and receive feedback about their work.
